My Story
My name is Juliana Asare, LPN, and I have over 24 years of experience caring for older adults and supporting families affected by dementia and chronic illness.
My healthcare journey began in independent living and nursing home settings, where I learned the importance of dignity, compassion, and person-centered care. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant and later earned my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential, working as a bedside nurse during some of the most challenging moments for individuals living with dementia and their families.
As my career progressed, I served as a Nurse Director in Memory Care, supporting families who often felt overwhelmed and unsure of what steps to take — frequently during moments of crisis in hospital settings.
I founded Peaceful Minds Dementia Support Services to bridge the gap between medical care and everyday life for individuals living with dementia and their families. My goal is to support families from early onset through advanced stages of diagnosis by promoting safety, providing consistent guidance, and helping reduce unnecessary hospitalizations.
